Montegrappa has dedicated this Limited Edition of the sophisticated Tribute
Collection to an event of great historical significance: the thousandth anniversary of the foundation of the city of Kazan, capital of Tatarstan one of the
Republics which make up the Russian Federation. The dome of the Kul Sharif mosque, the oldest in the city, has been reproduced on the end of the pen's cap
using the exclusive technique of cold enameling. The city's coat of arms is engraved with a diamond point on the base of the cap. Other symbols of Kazan are
delineated by low-relief engraving on the surface of the silver, or gold in the case of the most precious version, which adorns the barrel of the pen:
notably the Suyumbeki Tower and an Arabic inscription taken from the Koran. The Kazan 1000 Limited Edition consists of 1000 pieces in all: 50 fountain pens
in 18K pink gold, 500 fountain pens in sterling silver and 450 rollers in sterling silver.
