The Ring Ornaments are inspired from Tell-Halaf (main entrance) in north Syria – Oppenheim’s most important exploration – featuring the rings of the Edition. The oriental design of this Limited Edition Writing Instrument is inspired by the typical mosque architecture from the Syrian area. The translucent precious lacquer on cap and body - creates a 3-D effect on the fountain pen’s surface – and is based on different mosaic techniques. The nib is a reminder to the life of Oppenheim as a Bedouin during his explorations. The Pen features 925 Sterling Silver, gold plated rings with a grey translucent lacquer on the cap and barrel. Only 4,810 fountain pens are available worldwide.
