The Metropolitan Museum of Art has designed their newest pen to reflect the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs currently in their collection. The glyphs found on the pens are crafted from resin, painted lacquer, and gold overlay. They are replicated from a door belonging to Metjetji, a noble who served under King Unis of Dynasty 5.
