S.T. Dupont's latest collectible is inspired by one of Paris' most famous squares. Place Vendome, commissioned by King Louis XIV, is defined by its majestic proportions and strong sense of symmetry in its architecture. Jules Hardouin-Mansart, also the architect of the Palace of Versailles, designed Place Vendome. To recognize this historic and romantic place, S.T. Dupont has engraved into each palladium cap and barrel, a quote from Napoleon: "Impossible n'est pas Francais" (Impossible is not French). Each Place Vendome pen features eight hematite stones hand placed into the cap and an individual serial number from the 1,800 pieces produced worldwide.
