Conjuring a reverie of the halls of Versailles, Dupont's newest addition to their Orpheo Collection, the Black Mother-Of-Pearl, combines the silver white of the ever-so-hard palladium, with facet plains of rich mother-of-pearl on the barrel. Each inlaid plane is given a tapering, a faintly rounded end shape that almost gives a distance perspective, when combined with the pastel colours that seem to swirl into unknown depths. The fountain pen is large, and comes with an 18ct nib, available in F and M
